I did the stt 820--the shorter one without lunch. it was my first time snorkeling and I loved it! our group was an early morning one, so there was maybe 25 of us. the catamaran was new-looking and the captain and 1st mate knew what they were doing. the mate snorkeled with us and pointed out things. the bottom was about 30 feet down of clear warm water. there were stingrays (they stayed at the sand level), conch, lots of sea turtles and tons of other fish. rum (or non-alcoholic) punch and taco chips on the way back.

hope this is what you were looking for.

We have been on two of these several times over the years. We don't snorkel as much as we once did but would not hesitate to pick any of the three you listed.

STT830 ... Trunk Bay is good and have done this one several times. Quite easy for those who don't snorkel well. Trunk Bay is lovely even if you don't want to snorkel and just sit on the beach.:)

STT810 ... Champagne catamaran which we've been on a bunch of times ... never disappoints us and others who have been on it with us. :)

STT815 ... Fairly new .... would love to give this one a try! ;)

:) Happily, don't think you can make a bad decision!

Agree about Trunk Bay - this is a snorkel from shore into a National Park area. It has been one of our all time favorites, and if you have your own gear, you can get extra time in the water.

We've been on the other two. Turtle cove was OK but lacked the great coral reef experience of the other two. Turtles were fairly small. When we were on this it was a two snorkel site cruise in adjacent coves - with boat reentry in between.

We've done both. Both trips we have had a great time!

Turtle Cove: Is a great trip......however you must enter the water either by jumping off a boat or navigating your way down a ladder. Depending on when you are cruising Turtle Cove can be very busy with other boats causing a rough current to snorkel in. The fish when active are so colorful.

The trip back is usually a mini-party.

Trunk Bay: Is great. You enter the snorkel area from the beach.....easy in and easy out. The fish and coral are very colorful. You follow a path of underwater markers. The beach is beautiful!

We had a blast on the Champagne Cat sail in March. The crew is really friendly and a great time was had by all. They provide a light lunch, champagne and rum punch as you sail in the beautiful Caribbean waters. The snorkeling part is fairly short, they focus more on the sailing and having fun, which was fine for us!

Ive done all three. That's what happens when you become a snorkel addict.:p

Snorkeling at Trunk Bay is okay. But once in the water, you will be on your own. On a boat/catamaran trip you will have a guide to help you adjust to snorkeling.

Take the Campagne trip. It's pricey, but worth the money.

You would also have a guide on the Turtle Cove trip, but the snorkeling isn't very good.
