FLL to port of Miami.- overnight - best transportation

Just wanted to share what we did earlier this month

 

We flew into FLL on Saturday with a Sunday cruise departure.

 

We landed at 10am and rented a car from Alamo via costco for 1 day with a drop off at the Miami airport.

 

We paid 65 for an SUV which was big enough for our family of five and lots of luggage

 

After returning the car the next morning at 10am, we took the free shuttle to the port

 

 

So 65 got us from FLL to our Miami hotel, to the store to buy water, wine, suntan lotion, etc, a stop at the beach, a restaurant for dinner and ultimately to our cruise

 

It worked out great!!!!
