Help!Where will the Pacific Princess dock in Shanghai?

Hi fellow cruisers,

We have a friend of my son's who will be meeting us to show us around Shanghai. He has asked me to find out where we dock, but Princess seems confused. The brochures state that the Grand Class ships (like Sapphire & Diamond) dock an hour away, but that the smaller ships (like Pacific, I assume) dock much closer in. I called Princess twice and couldn't get a definitive answer. One said it docked where the Sapphire docks, one said no, but didn't have a name or address for the actual dock...

I'm relying on one of you seasoned travellers to help me here!!

Hi Suzie--we have the same problem. Called Princess about a week and a half ago and they gave us the name of some dock which we (thanks to google) found out was the container port. We told our contact in Shanghai and he checked with Princess' agent. The agent told him we would dock near the Bund in the downtown area pier. So, we aren't sure either way but our fingers are crossed we are at the latter pier.
