Debarking in Venice

When overnighting in Venice, can you leave the ship as early as you want on the morning of debarkation? If not what time will they allow you to debark? This would be carrying our own luggage off the ship.

I just keep laughing about the word "debarking", it sounds like something the gators do to the Georgia bulldogs lol.... Maybe with a name like cruisinggator2 you get that!

On most ships and in most ports you will be able to DISEMbark soon after the ship is cleared by the port authorities. A look at your itinerary and a quick call to Celebrity should give you a fair idea of when you will be able to get off the ship, but it's likely to be pretty early.

We found a flight out of Venice that works great without having to leave the ship too early.:)
