Corona beach

Recommended Posts

Ok, I did a search on Corona beach, but most info is old. Anyone been there recently and can give me an idea of what to expect? It will be the first time my two little girls have seen the beach (I have nachi cocom booked for the next day, so I'm betting that will be the better beach experience!). So anyway, we are planning on just walking to corona beach and letting them swim and play in the sand, and then take the double decker tour and do some shopping. Is this a good plan? A safe area? I feel like a rebel not booking an excursion through the ship lol

If the kids can walk 2 blocks there is no need to book tour. The shuttle bus will take you to the straw market. The market (mercado) and beach is only a couple of blocks away. You can walk dowñ the main street (malecon) and take your pick of places to loaf. You can have food and drink served right there on the beach.

There is plenty of shopping.
