plenty of non smoking areas

no chairs at all so there wouldn`t be any hogs

42 Buffets so there would be no lines

separate dining rooms...1 for casual and 1 for hats...wife beater tee shirts

Add a real NY pizza parlor

Add a Real Chicago Pizza parlor

bring back the FCC

Free Booze in a pay one price cruise fare

make the ship enclosed in a plastic bubble made of recycled water bottles so weather would never be an issue

add a KFC...Mcdonalds...Chinese take out...

two casinos...one smoking one non smoking

Half the ship kids running rampant unsupervised and swim diapers in pool

the other half adults only

Solo cabins, more pools, more slides kind of like ncl breakaway has or green thunder on spirit. A cake shop. Ncl and royal have cupcake stores. Why not a cake store where you can get slices of cake. Not talking about just the old standards we already like, but multiple varieties.

• Have an Open Air Cigar Bar (only a lid and maybe 2 sided) at the top of the Lido or "F" Deck area where you could actually enjoy a cigar and drink in peace.
  
• Pre-ordering your dinner selections from your cabin remotley and when you get to the MDR a button is pushed that you have arrived to activate your order so your food is only minutes away from being served and does not take 1.5 hours. (You said the sky's the limit):D
  
• Always LOVED the Lazy River idea:)
  
• Hot breakfast and actual dinners available from Room Service.
  
• FREE speciality coffees during your entire cruise for PLATINUM guests.

I actually like your MDR idea! And the free specialty coffees for Platinum and up. I did say the sky's the limit ;)

On another note I'll be shocked if there are no solo cabins on this ship. And people have been clamoring for a lazy river with swim up bars for years. It would be pretty cool if Carnival was the first to do it.

Cabanas for rent at the pool edge so if you want that spot you pay for it. Towel hog all day it's yours. Offer sun loungers as well and areas in serenity. Pay for it and enjoy.

 

Pool like the golden nugget with Chairs in the water and a slide thru the shark tank.

 

Storage cubbies:place to put your stuff if just hanging out or swimming. Great for kids stuff who really don't want a chair but no place to put thier stuff.

 

Keep the guys burgers and other places open until 8. So if you don't want to dress its not buffet or pizza.

 

Agree some pub grub like wings!!! After 5 days I am dying for something different.

Make the lido deck kids and food and make the deck above adults. Offer cabins, pools, bars on both. Maybe a stage on each so kid friendly downstairs adult stuff upstairs.

An adults-only infinity pool in the adults-only Serenity area well away from rope courses or water slides. Premium serenity deck seats/cabanas with a fee good for the entire cruise that could be purchased in advance (like an excursion or FTTF is purchased now). Pleasing color palette of ocean blues/greens/turquoise similar to the Breeze. Make redemption of complimentary drink coupon easier by being able to access it at any bar location instead of just the MDR (while they're at it, they could make the transaction electronic rather than printing paper coupons).

not sure what i would add but i know what i woudlnt! plz ccl do not go the way of ncl and rcci with all the "extra" cost food venues. i pay enough already to go on the cruise, with out having to worry about paying extra for mexican or some other specialty ethnic food. i will never ever sail on ncl because of this and rcci is a close second. also i heard that they may adopt freestyle dining too...another fail if you ask me. i like the 6pm, 8pm, or anytime format you have now!

Larger pools definitely. Just got off the Breeze and had a great time; however, the pools were almost always crowded.

Free WiFi, Free Soda, Free Bottled Water = LOTS & LOTS of Lost Revenue that would have to come from somewhere. Carnival can't continue to keep cruise fares low while adding all these extras and keep their bottom line strong very long, it just won't work. There are other lines that offer these items for free, and you pay a premium fare for these "free" items. Carnival should not take that approach, as it totally misses their current customer base. They let you bring soda & water on for free, take advantage of this.

 

They are never going to offer free WiFi. Find free WiFi in port, or pay the premium for WiFi on the ship, if it was offered free think about how much SLOWER it would be??!!! That's not good for anyone!

You think chair hogs are bad on deck? Imagine how bad it would be at a swim up bar! No one would ever get up from those bar stools, even to go to the bathroom! eeeewww. lol

 

I LOVE swim up bars on land (even though im sure LOTS of people pee in those too!) but I just dont think it would work on a cruise ship.

 

Same goes for the lazy river, I just dont think its practical with 4000+ passengers trying to use what would have to be a pretty small lazy river.

Princess has those on their new ship, Royal Princess. From what I've been reading, they seem to be very popular. Take that, chair hoggers!

Like a lot of what other post's have mentioned - lot of good idea's

 

- a closed off section in the Casino for the "Smoker's" with proper ventilation to the outside.

 

- a better flow to the Main Dinning Room

( none of this up one deck - walk half the ship then down one deck just to enter by main door)

Times change, less smokers in the population today. A smoke free ship would sell out in today's world if the itinerary was popular. I'm not suggesting that entire fleets go smoke free, just that I think one smoke free ship would do much better nowadays.

Love the pub grub idea... Wings!! Just got off the Breeze and the Red Frog pub is awesome! Make it an inside bar. But... Open air vs doors to the outside.

 

Make the funphone app a reality so you can use the ships WiFi to text at a reasonable price and available on iPods too. Wasn't up and running while we were on the the Breeze. I don't want internet. Just wanna be able to text within our group while in the ship without international charges.

 

Love the preorder idea for the MDR. I dislike eating for an hour and a half. But... Love the food.

 

Let me view all my pictures in my room on my TV instead of searching for them. I never find them all.
