Splendor pool question

Recommended Posts

We are about to take our first Carnival cruise on the Splendor. Looking forward to trying Carnival as we have sailed mostly on Royal Caribbean. Does anyone know if the Splendor has an adults only pool? We are going on the cruise on the last week kids are off from school so I expect lots of kids on this one.

Yes, the aft pool is adults only.

Yes, the aft pool is adults only.

But, kids are still allowed on the aft deck. The deli and the Tandoori grill are located there.

The Serenity (21+) seating area is on deck 12 forward on both the port and starboard sides.

I only seen kids a few times getting food with parents and going back in to eat . A lady came and got in the hot tub with a little boy and before she sat down the staff informed her it was adults only.

What happened then? I would loved to have seen the look on her face at the exact time he told her no kids in the tub or pool. I am also on the 8/29 Splendor cruise, and my day was almost ruined when the marine said there would be plenty of kids onboard. You made my day by telling us about the "No kids allowed in the hot tub/pools on on the adult only area" (thanx) Sea ya'll on deck, or in my case, the casino. R.A.

She looked around at all the adults with cocktails and as she did he explained where the kid friendly pools were located she actually politely left ...it can at times get rowdy out there but in a good way like when the DJ party is out there not a place for kids... as for how deep only about 4 ft not deep and I don't remember using the steps sorry ....What I loved is we had people ages 25 to this cute couple in there 90s that danced in the pool they were so cute :) And they keep the drinks flowing ....

So I am confused. Are kids allowed back there but just cant go in the pool? Are there signs that say adults only for the pools?

There is considerable deck space between the door to the area and the pool. The Tandoori is on the starboard side and the Deli on the port side. The deck above extends like arms to surround the pool area. There are tables and chairs under the "arms" for people to sit and eat. Children are allowed to sit at these tables but not to go into the pool.
