R&M1000 Posted July 27, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2013 We will be tendering, starting at 10AM into Cannes on a Sunday. Since it's our first port we're really not looking for a easy, lazy day. Most rental car companies will be closed. Is Cannes also "closed" compared to a mid week day? Really don't wish to take a ship excursion unless absolutely need to. Any advise for a Sunday? Rare marazul Posted July 27, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 27, 2013 When are you going? If during high season everything will be open. End of October-November there will be closures. That is the low season.

Rare marazul Posted July 27, 2013 #4 Share Posted July 27, 2013 will be there in August That is peak season in Cannes and the rest of the Riviera. If you were in Paris or the North, there would be many closures, mostly restaurants. That's because everyone heads South to Cannes, etc. for vacation. You'll be fine.
