Riviera dock in Livorno

Where does Riviera dock in Livorno? We have been there many times but always docked in the commercial port and had to use the shuttle into town. I read somewhere that Riviera being smaller can dock nearer to town. Thanks

We were on the Marina last fall and the ship docked at a pier close to town. All we had to do was walk down the pier towards land and crossed the street to Via Grande which takes us right into the town. We had taken a private tour of the Tuscan countryside and Florence on day one and decided to explore Livorno on our own on day 2.

Betty,

Who did you take the tour with to the Tuscan countryside and Florence and would you recommend them?
