UBD on Hawaiian Cruise

Has anyone had the UBD dinner either on the way to or from Hawaii?

 

I know that we would wait until perhaps the third day out so that it is warmer on the balcony. But how is the wind on an aft balcony?

We did the UBD the last sea day before reaching the Islands. We had an aft facing balcony and it was PERFECT! Not sure how a side facing balcony would be.

Ours is an aft with one cabin to starboard and a couple to the port side as well.

We are booked on an aft-facing balcony on the Grand, and plan on doing the UBD the first night after leaving Hawaii. Can't wait!!

We also did it the day before reaching Hawaii.. Weather was perfect! It was also wonderful!

We had a side facing balcony in January and delayed UBD until Honolulu , eating with the lights in the background and ending dinner just as we left the port- magical!
