Livorno port with CruisingExcursions.com meet-up instructions correction

Last week we took a transport only to Florence booked through CruisingExcursions, the guide being Rosa.

 

The transport only option went as expected but there was an error in the joining instructions which I have confirmed they will address in future.

 

If you already have booked with CE, be aware you may have incorrect instructions for Livorno.

 

The key part of the response I have from the reply from CE customer support is as below

 

We have had a long discussion with Rosa regarding the joining instructions from the port of Livorno, the problem has arisen since the cruise lines do not allow our guides to meet our clients next to the cruise ship any longer.

 

I can confirm that the joining instructions have been revised and do state the free shuttle bus to the coach parking area.

 

So if you find yourself looking for a guide for an independent tour at Livorno this correction may apply to your booking.
