Carnival Players Club

My DH and I have received several mailings telling us of cruises tailored for casino perks. We usually cannot go on those specific dates, but I have a cruise coming up 9/8 out of San Juan.

Should I call the Players Club number and let them know we will be on the Valor? We usually introduce ourselves to the Casino Host, as I like the interaction and getting to know the casino staff.

For those who may have sailed on a Players Club cruise, would you do it again?

We did this on the January Dream cruise. We had actually booked more than a year out when the notice it was a special Casino cruise flyer came. We called our PVP (who is awesome) as well as Player club. She was able to adjust our booking to reflect the Casino deal.

You will receive something similar to VIP - we had a suite so it got a little confusing what we received from the Casino booking v. a suite but: You have 2 cocktail parties, automatic drinks on us for everyone in your room, casino dollars, there was a slot party but hubby didn't do that so I don't have the details, and we had very early like zone 1 or 2 debark.

DH was very well pleased, every casino associate knew him by name (not because of spending money just the different events)

He would do again in a heart beat

I will be going on my first on the Dream in September - really excited about it. This is the first time I've been able to take advantage of the offer. I think you answered one of my questions - there are 4 of us in 2 cabins, three with the Players Club but my 26 year old daughter didn't get the offer - so are you saying that she will get the "perks" as long as she's in our cabin? She'll be thrilled to get to go to the cocktail party and especially if she gets the Drinks on Us.

Don't forget to pick up your casino cash at the cashier's cage in the casino. You should have that even if you don't go on a "casino premiere" cruise.

Have a great cruise!
