Clarea Posted August 4, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2013 This is our first time on RC - we will be on Navigator of the Seas - I know we can bring wine, bu can we bring soft drinks or water? Technically against the rules, but frequently not enforced.
mominva Posted August 4, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2013 We carried water bottles and soda on board and they didn't care. One woman had a case of water on a dolly and no one gave her any trouble. I will say I had second thoughts because our water and soda was heavy! Next time, I will just bring water. I really need it at ports. Our refrigerator never cooled the sodas down, and I never remembered to request ice. So, we hardly drank any.

They're not refrigerators, they're coolers as our room steward noted to us on a past cruise. That's why they don't really cool that much when you put room temperature sodas in them. Seaworthy01 Posted August 4, 2013 #6 Share Posted August 4, 2013 I wrote the Concierge about water & wine, here was the reply I received. The 2 - 750 ml bottles are correct as we all know but he also add, "Please make sure the wine bottles are sealed and unopened. Bottled water which are sealed are allowed as well however ,Policies are subject to change" I had mentioned that I have heard that a case of un-tampered water is allowed to be brought on board on debarkation day. Nothing about soda was metioned.
