Sydney Hotel Recommendation

I recently stayed at the Mantra Hotel, 2 Bond Street, Sydney. I highly recommend staying here pre or post cruise.

 

We arrived early and were able to store our luggage at the front desk. Very easy checkin. When we returned later in the afternoon, our luggage had already been delivered to our room.

 

The room was clean, very comfortable and spacious with every amenity required contained within. They supplied great toiletries in the bathroom (so my wife said anyway) and basic cleaning products in the kitchen. It also had a washing machine and dryer with washing powder supplied. The best thing apart the room was having the separate lounge/dining area.

 

Pros

Very central location within easy walking distance to the Overseas Passenger Terminal.

Walking distance to Circular Quay and the Rocks precinct

Walking distance to the circular quay railway station and within 100 metres of Wynyard railway station

Walking distance to the harbour bridge and the opera house

Bus at the front door

Woolworths Supermarket and food court directly across the road.

Very courteous staff and free wifi in the foyer, which was very fast.

Rooftop pool, spa and BBQ area, which had a great view around the CBD.

 

Cons

Could have a few more TV channels, but this is very minor.

 

Would have no hesitation staying here again.
