kjeanne2001 Posted August 5, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2013 I am really leaning towards buying the cruise lines insurance only because of their cancel for any reason portion of it. That said, can you buy a policy for just flights and would it really be necessary since you can rebook within a Year with a change fee?
Algebralovr Posted August 8, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 8, 2013 Depending on who you purchase the flights through, you might be able to purchase insurance on the flights through the airline very cheaply. I've seen it offered when I bought flights. I would not depend on being able to change the flights.
sirwired Posted August 8, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 8, 2013 I wouldn't. As you have correctly pointed out, all you really need to worry about is the change fee. The risk that something will happen to you that will put you in a situation that you can't re-use your airfare is pretty low, and probably not worth insuring.
