Question for those who have sailed on Divina

Hi, yes, we were in cabin 12165. I would say it was in an ideal location, just around the corner from the rear bank of elevators. Most of the activities we did were in the back and also the buffet. The cabin itself was beautiful, had a balcony and little couch/sitting area with small table. Bed was big and comfortable.

Now....I have already booked our cabin for our next Monsters of Rock Cruise next April and we are going for an Oceanview this time, that's the round window on one wall. Probably on deck 8. After our last cruise we figured we had been out on the balcony twice, to take pictures, there was just too much stuff to do on the decks and theater. I think if we were NOT going on a theme cruise again, just a regular cruise like Princess or any of the others we would do the balcony again. It is nice......:)

The recess areas of the Divina were an area we avoided when we bought our balcony! Less breeze, less sun, and less view!

As far as Dk 8 goes, forget about the life boats, who looks directly down, which is the only way you'd see them! If you're sitting, you can't see them either!

As far as the over hang goes on the higher decks, the recessed decks will be in the shade for most of the day, as the sun goes down and is on your side of the boat, you'll have some sun!

Remember, in the Caribbean, when selecting a balcony, going east to west, west to east, north to south, or south to north, you only get sun going one way, depending on which side of the ship you're on!

Example, our balcony was on the port side, so we had sun going west, and didn't going east!

Hoping Skier52 see's this post. We are booked for the MORC on the Divina on April 18, 2015. We just got our stateroom assignment, 10146. Was wondering if you have any pictures of the ship where you could point out this stateroom. Thanking you in advance. :-)
