My flight gets in around 10:30, so I suspect by the time I get my luggage and get a taxi into old San Juan it will be close to midnight when I reach the hotel. I plan on contacting them to let them know of my late arrival (although for San Juan, I don't think midnight is considered late, even on a weeknight!). Yes, as long as you let them know and chances are you may be prepaying for your room. I would let them know when you book and also give them a reminder call within a day or so of the trip.
