Ibis Hotel to City Terminal, Southampton

Hi all

 

We shall be boarding the Adventure of the seas on 29th Sep and are staying with 4 friends pre-cruise at the Ibis Hotel making 6 adults in total (plus luggage).

 

Although it is only a 10 min walk, not sure if this is practical therefore should we order a large people carrier to take us all to the City Cruise Terminal ?

 

Can anybody recommend a taxi firm that supplies large carriers, or should we just get 2 or 3 separate cabs ?

It's only about 0.5 mile, 10-15 min level walk with one road to cross (ped lights).

Or 2 mins in a taxi, probably at the minimum fare of around £5. Not really worth pre-booking.

A couple of taxis will do the job - or even one taxi on a double-run.

Or if the weather's fine - load the luggage in one taxi & draw straws who goes with it, and the rest of you might want to walk.
