amynkeith Posted June 30, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2005 My cruise isn't for over three months and I'm very tired of waiting. Does anyone have a method of fast forwarding time so I can wake up tomorrow and board my ship? TIA! :p

BS_Outwest Posted June 30, 2005 #6 Share Posted June 30, 2005 I can't speed it up, however, when we book a cruise the time seems to slow down:mad:

terri23 Posted June 30, 2005 #9 Share Posted June 30, 2005 I agree - don't wish your life away, enjoy every second! Remember the ketchup commercial, "Anticipation"?? Just think you're getting LOTS of that!!
CarpeCerevisi Posted June 30, 2005 #10 Share Posted June 30, 2005 Well, according to Einstein's theories, if you could find some way of speeding up to near the speed of light your time frame would be much slower than the normal "earth" time frame. The net effect would be that once you slowed back down to normal speed much more time would have passed on earth than what you personally experienced, so depending on how fast you were going, where you felt one day pass by, on earth many days would have passed. Of course, the down side to accelerating to those kinds of speeds is that to someone on earth you would appear much more massive than you were at normal speed, but then that's kind of what we all experience by the end of a cruise, especially after one too many midnight chocolate buffets. Oh, and yes, I know - I'm a nerd.
Aysen Posted June 30, 2005 #11 Share Posted June 30, 2005 Log onto www.stasis.com. Once on their site you put in your credit card info which takes you to the main page. There you type in the amount of days and just hit enter. When you wake up the cruise is there!:D
Arizona Cruz Chic Posted July 1, 2005 #12 Share Posted July 1, 2005 LOL....cute, I too wish time would speed up, some times it just seems to fly by and other times it drags on and on. I've got 10 months to wait, It makes me feel like I'm pregnant and and at my age thats not good a thing. :D  ***
Host Kewlguy Posted July 1, 2005 #13 Share Posted July 1, 2005 You can always hibernate until about a week before your cruise, this way you'll have enough time to pack.
MrsBoo Posted July 1, 2005 #14 Share Posted July 1, 2005 I edited my options to not show everyone's future cruises/countdown clocks so that I don't have to be jealous of all the cruises that everyone else will be going on. The only other thing I could think of to make time go faster is to be in a coma - but with my luck I wouldn't wake up until the cruise was over. It seems like a long time from now but this years repo cruise (Baltimore to New Orleans) has been sold out for awhile. Couldn't pass up that great itinerary and the two cruise credits. This cruising is way too addictive.
