Oasis pool music

What type of music do they play during the day by the pools? My last cruise on Carnival they played the same 12 songs over and over, which got quite annoying.

Gangsta Rap. Mostly 2 Live Crew classics like "Me So Horny!".:D

Don't know what it is like on the Oasis, but on the Freedom it was LOUD :D

I remember on sea days at about 3pm the band played Caribbean type music.

We just sailed on the 7/27/13 Oasis. The pool music, either a DJ or a live band, was loud enough to be annoying, so we spent most of our time in the solarium up front. There really wasn't any escaping it if you wanted to use one of the main pools. I know, I know...we're getting older, and the young crowd likes it that way :rolleyes: Funny, even the captain's announcements on the PA were so loud that you couldn't really understand the words.

 

I don't remember last year's cruise on the Allure that way, so maybe it's a cruise-by-cruise thing.

I think you may have it backwards. It's loud so that the old folks who took their hearing aids out while at the pool can hear. :p ;)

What´s up with the realy loud music by the pool? I mean come on it´s just annoying. I´m not that old, I´m 32 and I have been a swedish champion in caraudio competitions, but I still thinks it´s too loud by the pools. You can´t even speak normaly with people staning infront of you.
