serene56 Posted July 1, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 1, 2005 Make sure you book a cruise with two differnet itineraries. one week do the western and the next week do the esatern. Your menus for the second wekk will be exactly the same as the first week...as will be the shows. If you do a cruise picking a guarantee you could be in different cabins. (cabin stewards will help you move. Each cruise is a seperate week. and there really isnt a discount to book the second week. You will have to make arrangements with the pursers office to make the change. You have to go through the customs line to cancel your sign and sail card from one week and get all new cards for the second week.
kitty9 Posted July 1, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 1, 2005 All you do is call your travel agent and book 2 cruises together. If you can find a ship that does two different itineraries for those two weeks , all the better for you. You will be seeing the same entertainment, and eating the same food for both weeks, but at least you will be seeing different ports. You need to book a b2b early in order to have the same room---it's really a pain to have to pack everything up and move to another room for the second week. At the end of the first week, you have to go to the purser's desk and pick up a new sign and sail card for the second week. You also have to tip separately for each cruise---crew can change from week to week, so you have to tip after each week. You only have to go through Customs at the end of the second cruise.
