Thanksgiving Cruises

Recommended Posts

We have cruised both Disney and RCCL for Thanksgiving week. On Thanksgiving, they have a special menu and they make it a formal night, even if usually on that itinerary it is not.

We have found that people are in a very festive mood on Thanksgiving and we thought on average people dressed up more for this formal night than other non-holiday cruises we have been on.

Lots of kids on these cruises, but we don't have any trouble with that.

Enjoy, it is great to be lying in the sun on Thanksgiving and not cooking and cleaning up for a change!

Lizziemom - Thank you for the reply! It is a family cruise so there will be 5 kids total. I know they will have a blast! It will definitely be nice to not have to cook or anything on Thanskgiving. I cannot wait!!

We were on Majesty a couple of years ago over Thanskgiving and it was not a formal nite. They did have a special menu which included all the Thanksgiving "fixins" and it was printed on a neat little parchment scroll.

The turkey, dressing, etc was very good.
