JFK to Brooklyn Terminal info

We are flying into JFK from Florida, and planning on a cab to Brooklyn Terminal. Does anyone know how far this is, about how much a cab is or are we better off calling a car service? Also does anyone know any reputable car services?

IMO call a car service. You will get a fixed price. There are three good ways to go from JFK to the Brooklyn cruise terminal and they can run from about $45-70 in a yellow cab(no tolls any way).
