When Did the Bahia Mar Become a Doubltree?

It happened about a year ago. Same hotel, with cookies.

 

Do you remember when Courtyard at the beach was a Doubletree, and when "Doubletree Gallery One" was just "Doubletree"? I went to the one on Sunrise for an event and valet parked only to find out that my event was at the one on A1A. So it's good that one is called Gallery One and that Bahia Mar kept its name...less confusing!

Before I moved to South Florida I stayed at Gallery One a couple of times but it was the Doubletree Gallery One.
