Hi all,

I remember when we was there last time that some people had made their own way to see Olympia by bus?

 

Can anyone advise what bus, where from, how regular the times are, how far it is on the bus and how much it is please.

We went by train. There aren't many trains so you do have to be careful not to miss the last one. Think we did it in 2009 so this may have changed. The 'station' was at the other end of the village to where the ship docked. Don't look for a building in the traditional sense - it is just a platform and a small building. The journey is about 40-45 mins I think. There is a 15 min walk to the site when you get there. I enjoyed the trip but was constantly worrying about getting back to the ship on time!!
