How Cold is it on Mount Etna.

We are on the Majesty on the 13th September and want to visit Etna. I don't want to pack thick jumpers if I don't need them. Need the weight allowance for other things. So if anyone has been on this excursion, I would be grateful for any info.

We've been up Mt. Etna and I don't remember it being cold at all.

 

I can't remember which month it was but I don't go to Med in July or August (too hot) so you should be OK.

Maybe best just taking ONE warm jumper. Even for the day you arrive home. I had told my husband not to take warm stuff and I regretted not even taking a coat. I felt cold and foolish when the flight was delayed and we arrived back in Edinburgh at 11.30 one evening in April. I was just wearing a t shirt and cropped trousers.
