Group Cruise

We are planning a group cruise with 40 women from high school. We don't want to overplan but we would like to have a few activities planned for the group.

Our travel agent tells us Carnival no longer lets you use a room for free like it has in the past. I'm told it's $40 per hour to use a room for an art lesson or a bunco game or whatever. Because we have a travel agent, Carnival will not speak to me directly.

Is this true? Has anyone been given use of a room (bar, meeting room etc.) lately that did not have a fee with it?

Sorry, I can't answer your question but just wanted to say I'm super jealous of your trip. 40 girlfriends from HS on a cruise-FUN!

If you do have to pay the fee, it's only $1/hour per person. With that size group, it would really be worth it.

Have fun
