Stacy1436 Posted August 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2013 We are planning a group cruise with 40 women from high school. We don't want to overplan but we would like to have a few activities planned for the group. Our travel agent tells us Carnival no longer lets you use a room for free like it has in the past. I'm told it's $40 per hour to use a room for an art lesson or a bunco game or whatever. Because we have a travel agent, Carnival will not speak to me directly. Is this true? Has anyone been given use of a room (bar, meeting room etc.) lately that did not have a fee with it?
lrowe70 Posted August 20, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2013 Sorry, I can't answer your question but just wanted to say I'm super jealous of your trip. 40 girlfriends from HS on a cruise-FUN! If you do have to pay the fee, it's only $1/hour per person. With that size group, it would really be worth it. Have fun
Stacy1436 Posted August 20, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted August 20, 2013 Great point! It really should be fun. We are all super excited. We all turn 50 this year so we are calling it our "senior" cruise! (Since we'll be seniors"!) lol! Sent from my iPhone 5.
