Covering for breakdown of the ship

The Millennium saga has had me thinking and whilst I appreciate there is a separate board for insurance I am just fascinated by how these events have affected Celebrity cruisers and also the extent to which they have been able to find cover for the type of breakdown situation here (and FWIW I have been hunting today in the UK and I cannot).

 

Maybe this will help us moving forward to understand what we all could and could not insure against and I hope this can be allowed to stay on these boards. I am not asking for details of policies or names of companies, just get a sense of what we find when we check our policies
