Any clever suggestions for decorating the pole in Cabin 1700???

Hi! My friend and I have aft balcony cabin 1700 on the Freedom of the Seas, sailing Sept. 8. and as many of you probably know, that particular cabin has a pole in the middle of it.

 

I've seen a couple photos of that cabin where the pole was decorated in some way or another. I'd like to do the same - decorate that pole in a fun way for our cruise.

 

Just thought I'd ask if anyone has any clever ideas I could use? We'll be flying so we'll be limited on what decorations we can bring with us, but we could stop by the Publix near our hotel before we board the Freedom.

 

Any suggestions? I'll be sure to post pix when we get home!

WE had that room with my family, which included 2 kids. WE bought a bag of green balloons and decorated the pole to look like a palm tree. Kids had fun helping to decorate.:D

That sounds like fun! But we'd need to blow up those balloons BEFORE we walked to the helipad for sailaway! :D:D
