Rare alrichards4003 Posted August 24, 2013 #29 Share Posted August 24, 2013 Uh Oh, I see trouble brewing - So I yell at these guys that we need help, pronto. But, they didn't seem to know what a CHOG was? Perhaps it was a language barrier? Back to picture taking after failing to impress upon the Monaco Port Police the importance of our problem. As I'm about the leave the Serenity area, one last photo. Hope to get up some more pictures later tonight. The Serenity Waterfall and Pool look great, can't wait until its my turn to try it out. fuddrules Posted August 25, 2013 Author #32 Share Posted August 25, 2013 Nice! Finally a series of pictures that tell a story about this ship! Thank you and I wish I would have taken more. I don't have many. Sarge has a lot of very good pictures and there's also a thread with a bunch of videos of the Sunshine. It's very good as well. fuddrules Posted August 25, 2013 Author #33 Share Posted August 25, 2013 One more ship pic My only food picture - breakfast from the Blue Iguana We had an easy morning in Monaco and took the public bus for a ride and got off at the beach (bus #6 2 Euros PP). The kids wanted a beach day and I didn't want to have my wallet emptied in Monaco so this worked. Here's a picture of the "pebble" beach. Not bad at all. I was simply trying to capture the water, beach, city and these umbrellas. I ended up getting someone's best side. Whoops. Sorry. Another yacht from the Marina. I noticed quite a few boats from Cayman Islands? I didn't know why - but I guess is some sort of tax haven, money sheltering thing. I don't enough money to concern myself with those sorts of things. A mid afternoon picture of the Sunshine
fuddrules Posted August 25, 2013 Author #34 Share Posted August 25, 2013 Livorno was next and given it was a Monday and some major museums are closed in Florence, we stayed local. Did a little shopping and did a boat tour of Livorno and it's old fort/defense system. On to Rome - Here is the former site of Circus Maximus Altare della Patria - AKA, The Wedding Cake
