Long Beach - Hotel Current

Wondering if anyone has stayed at the Hotel Current in Long Beach? The rooms look decent and the rates are good. They have free parking (called hotel to confirm the parking is free while we're out of town) and free shuttle. If you have stayed here what are your thoughts on this hotel?

No, but you may want to check out the West Coast departure board. There are several threads there specific to hotels in Long Beach.

I have stayed there 2 times, If you can get the hotel Maya, do it instead. Make sure you use the Carnival rate Code big difference in price. 0560018220 some dates can be sold out. The beds are not to good at Currents and it is about 15 20mins from pier, there are restaurants within walking distant. I would stay there again if I had to.

We checked the hotel Maya but they do not offer shuttle to the long beach airport. We are flying to Orlando and taking a cruise from there.

 

Was the hotel current in a decent neighborhood? Were the rooms clean and acceptable?
