julieawill Posted August 31, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2013 We have a 2-year old traveling with us on our Venice to Rome Adriatic cruise. As adults, we have no problems adhering to the dress codes and have every intention of being respectful and not pushing any boundaries. My question is this; do the same rules apply to a two year old? They don't really have capris, and dresses are often knee-length or shorter. Let's face it, the knees and shoulders of a toddler are very different from the knees and shoulders of a young teenager or woman. There just isn't that much acreage on a toddler! Real experience would be helpful, rather than opinions. Thanks, Julie
WineDown17 Posted September 2, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2013 When we last cruised europe, our son was two... And he wore shorts, with no problems. We also bought him cute pants that were able to be worn as both pants...and the rolled up into shorts for when it got warm...and were held in place by a little strap that buttoned (does that make any sense?) just in case. Bit we had no problems. i also do not recall any problems with baby girls either. Have fun!!! It was a great age to travel to Europe...very wasy...he is now 6 and wants to go back....so we are dong it again next year... Enjoy!!!
