Can 2 people sit with legs stretched out on Royal balcony

My guess is that it is just a standard room and that the notch is where the service access for piping would be if two deluxe balconies were next to one another.

 

I paid for a deluxe DB so I am sure that it is not standard balcony cabin also it has a sofa.

Some are located on the aft of the ship, mid- ship on all decks, and forward at the bow. They can be seen on the deck plans in the areas I have mentioned where the drawings indicate larger balconies. They are priced higher as are the larger balconies on the other Princess ships.:)

Nearly all balconies are the same size except for the few areas 'Mom33' mentioned. If a cabin is on the side of the ship it doesn't matter if it's a standard, deluxe or mini except for the curved midship balconies which generally are larger.

Yes, it is a deluxe balcony cabin with the two person sofa, but my best guess is that it will be the standard layout for that category, whether it be a DZ or a D4 or anywhere in between such as your DB.
