How long does it take you to remember the layout of the Epic?

I'm just wondering how long it took for you to become comfortable finding your way around the Epic without needing to constantly refer to maps and signs.

With the Jewel class ships, it only took a day or so before I could find my way around pretty easily...of course the latter ships were easier than the former since it was essentially the same layout. Will it be much different with the Epic since the ship is so much larger? :o

Thanks!

DH and I are debating whether to let our son sign out of kids club since we will be so close (14048).

I just want to make sure he's comfortable with the ship before I do that. Last time he picked it up really fast. Glad to know that the size of the ship doesn't impact the ability to navigate it.

If he can read room numbers he's likely good to go

I actually had a harder time remembering the layout of the Gem than the Epic - I found the Epic's floor plan more open for the common areas, and virtually everything on the pool decks are accessible from the same deck. Maybe I found the Epic easier because it was our first ship so I kept expecting to find things on the Gem in the same location!

Either way, I'm sure he'll have no problem! Especially with the colour-coded port and aft elevators/stair cases.
