Bringing food on board

Can you bring food and/or wine on board that you've purchased in a port? I'm specifically thinking about Barcelona -- cheeses, fruit, flowers, wine. Is there a limit to the number of bottles of wine?

The best market in Europe. Go for it. You are not going to be searched. :)

I wouldn't bother too much with the wine. But don't miss out some decent sea food etc. Large prawns, fresh oysters, a lobster, crayfish, sea urchins, small picky things etc etc ...

Take with you some supermarket plastic bags so you aren't using those very thin white bags the markets will give you. Plain bags. Pop down to the kitchens and ask them to find a spot in the fridge and serve it up at dinner.

Very envious. Boqueria market and Silversea - a winning evening meal.

And don't forget, when in the Boqueria there are a couple of great Tapas stalls to graze at.

Oh, and don't even think of storing food under your bed when you get aboard:rolleyes:

Enjoy Barcelona - a great city . But hang on tight to your valuables - a plethora of pickpockets.
