What to do in Progreso on November 18?

My husband and I have never been to Mexico, and are wondering if it is safe to go on a tour to Dzibilchaltun with AutoProgreso ($29) rather than booking the tour with Carnival ($59). I would love to hear from anyone who has taken this tour. Thanks.

We took that exact tour with autoprogreso last year and it was great. I have heard some have had some minor problems booking online but it is very easy to pay when you get there. Carnival uses autoprogresso to take you from the boat to town. They have representatives standing there offering their various tours before you get on the bus. I paid in cash and I'm going to use them again next month. No worries.
