laudie3a Posted September 3, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2013 Does anyone know if they offer Texas Holdem on the Coral Princess? DH is a huge fan and I know he will want to play. Do they offer tournaments and if so, how much is the buy-in usually? Thanks!
Loonbeam Posted September 3, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 3, 2013 No live dealer table tournaments. I can't remember if they have the computerized poker table on there since they reduced the casino size. Does anyone know if they offer Texas Holdem on the Coral Princess? DH is a huge fan and I know he will want to play. Do they offer tournaments and if so, how much is the buy-in usually? Thanks!

WWCJR Posted September 4, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 4, 2013 Does anyone know if they offer Texas Holdem on the Coral Princess? DH is a huge fan and I know he will want to play. Do they offer tournaments and if so, how much is the buy-in usually? Thanks! I reviewed all of the Patters from my 14 day Panama Canal cruise in April on the Coral Princess and they had it everyday and some days twice a day. When they had it during the day it was at 2:00 PM. When they had it at night it was at either 9:00 PM or 9:30 PM. From the Patter "$60 Texas Hold'em Tournament followed by a $1/$2 No Limit Cash Game. Casino, Deck 6 Midship" I have no idea if this is played on machines or if there is a live dealer as I never when into the Casino. I cannot help with the Golden Princess. I don't think DH is going to mind as long as he gets to play haha! That was extremely helpful and I know he will be thrilled!
Astro Flyer Posted September 4, 2013 #6 Share Posted September 4, 2013 Thank you so much WWCJR! I don't think DH is going to mind as long as he gets to play haha! That was extremely helpful and I know he will be thrilled! On the Coral in Alaska in July on all nights except for one they listed "Texas Hold'Em Players meet for a $1/$2 no limit cash game". On embarkation day they had a "school". the 2nd evening a blackjack tournament & a Texas Hold'Em tournament on the 3rd evening followed by a $1/$2 no limit cash game. petlover Posted September 4, 2013 #7 Share Posted September 4, 2013 Thanks, interesting info. I know some cruise lines with large casinos have the electronic Texas Hold'em tables where you can play anytime the casino is open. They were very popular with a game going most of the time. thyme2go Posted September 4, 2013 #8 Share Posted September 4, 2013 On the Pacific last year they had real (not machine) tournaments. Small casino, small ship, BIG fun!
