RCCL Galveston Cruise Terminal - VIP Lounge

I did a search but don't see any recent posts about this. It's been 2 1/2 years since we cruised out of Galveston. At that time, the VIP Lounge in the terminal was just a cordoned off area with cookies, drinks and no seating. Has this been updated? I read a post from my search that Carnival had updated their terminal with a new VIP Lounge area.

Hoping RCCL has done the same in their terminal. Our cruise will be the first cruise out of Galveston on Navigator when they return from the transatlantic and I'm concerned about having to wait later than usual to board as we like to arrive early to the port and get on the ship ASAP.

Back at the of time of the announcement of year round Navigator,

the port officals announced planning for $10 million or so in improvements at the terminal #2 that will serve the Navigator of the Seas. These improvements hopefully should be completed by arrival of Navigator in November 2013.
