Art Classes on Equinox

Are art (watercolour painting) classes held on sea days on Equinox?

Equinox still has the Hot Glass show, not an art studio. The ships with the art studio are Sillouette and Reflection.

 

I would not expect art classes, but would be pleasantly surprised to find them on the three older S-Class ships.

Celebrity Eclipse certainly had regular watercolour classes during their Iceland and Norway cruise. This was nothing to do with the art studio but was held in a conference room. I did go to one - it was very well attended. In fact I felt it was too crowded. They did provide a very basic and limited set of watercolours, paper, pencils and brushes. There was not a great deal of tuition, just hints and tips along with comments on finished paintings, which were taken from a selection of photos of the area.

You may be lucky on your cruise. You could also take a small set of paints with you to enjoy at your leisure. I took my own mini set of watercolours and and sketch book and spent happy hours on sea days painting the beautiful scenery

I preferred this to the classes. :)
