Coastalbreezes Posted September 5, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 5, 2013 Yes they do sell cigars. My son loves the cigar lounge and usually brings several of his own. Here is a photo (sorry it's a bit dark): Tracy
dongordon Posted September 5, 2013 #6 Share Posted September 5, 2013 Tracy....I love to bring a few good cigars on the cruise as well. They are overpriced on the ship. Looking forward to this cigar lounge on our cruise in January. Hope I find some fellow cigar smokers. I will ask on our roll call. Don

Coastalbreezes Posted September 5, 2013 #12 Share Posted September 5, 2013 Can you actually smoke outside? There are areas designated for smoking outside near Maltings and the Cigar Lounge. Tracy

Don Don, I can practically guarantee you will meet plenty of cigar smokers on board. Every cruise, my son makes about 10 new friends in that lounge! Also, you buy cigars in any port -- good Cubans, included. You just can't bring the Cubans into the states. Tracy
dongordon Posted September 6, 2013 #14 Share Posted September 6, 2013 Hi Tracy..... I am always wary about purchasing any cuban cigar on the islands. There are many counterfeits out there that I have purchased during my early days of cruising. That is why I usually bring my own cigars with me that I know I have tried and enjoyed....they are as good as any of the real Cubans I have purchased in the past (and much less expensive!). That being said , I did find and tried a Cuban which I purchased in a shop in St. Maarten....it was real. :) I can't remember the name, but I think I still know where it is when I get there again on our upcoming January cruise. I know that one of the husbands on our roll call likes cigars....I believe it is Isabel's DH - Bob. I will have to ask. Have a great day.
