Luggage Transfer

We are sailing on the Sunshine at the end of December. We are platinum so we will be off the ship fairly early. Our flight does not leave New Orleans until 5. We have all day to explore but we don't want to carry our luggage with us. Doesn't Carnival have a program that will deliver your bags to the airport and check them onto the flight or you? Maybe I am crazy.

I have been doing some research. It seems there is a program. It is called luggage express. Does anyone know if it is offered on the Sunshine, port of New Orleans or on Delta airlines. Not sure how it works.

I will be on the Sunshine Transatlantic. I did some research for New Orleans and found this company: http://www.advancecheckin.com. I made an online reservation last week with them after reading some reviews but haven't heard anything since. I hope they are still in business.
