outlets and chargers

there are quite a few questions regarding power outlets and charging options on the Regent Ships. I usually find enough outlets to charge especially when you stagger things. I mean, do you really use your cell phone on the trip ? An Ipad or tablet keeps the charges for a while, the razor gets charged at home etc.

However, some need more and here is a quick update.

1. All Regent have US currency and plugs

2. All Regent also have at least one European 220 in the room

3. Most electronics can be charged on either currency with the right plug adapter. Usually not an issue on board, but when you stay at a hotel.

Amazon has a variety of plugs (look for international travel adapter).

Some people suggested to bring a power strip or similar. I'd rather not suggest that as they are bulky etc. However, the product below is ideal. Not only triples it your power options but also gives you two usb charging options for phones, tablets etc...and it's fairly small.

But with all usb charging, not all usb outlets are providing enough power for all devices. So it still is necessary to bring the original charger for the device.

Enjoy
