Carnival Pride vs Glory

Booking an October trip on Pride. Anybody has taken that ship recently? Thinking of booking balcony room with obstructed view. How obstructed is it?

I haven't been on Pride, but I know about those balconies. They are obstructed up to the railing of the balcony. So if you look straight out, you have a clear view. If you look downward, you'll see the top of the lifeboat. The furthest forward lifeboats are taller than the others, so I would avoid those, even though they're probably not too bad.
