Pebbles468 Posted September 9, 2013 #154 Share Posted September 9, 2013 Since you're dining at Samba tonight, it may be a few days til you find out.... are there escargot in the MDR on your trip?? Also ... another investigative question... Someone posted they just sailed on Oasis and 'hot' breakfast items were pulled from room service menu halfway into their sailing. Is this something new that will not be available for room service anymore?? Are hot items available for room service? Thanks and enjoy your cruise ... looking forward to hearing about SAMBA!! Rare LMaxwell Posted September 9, 2013 #155 Share Posted September 9, 2013 Hey Trainman; someone just off of Oasis is reporting they removed hot breakfast (mid-week) from the room service menu. I don't know if you partake in that service but can you confirm or deny if it hot breakfast can be ordered via room service still on Allure? Thanks in advance. Trainman-2 Posted September 9, 2013 Author #156 Share Posted September 9, 2013 Just curious, does Royal Caribbean allow smoking on the balcony? YES! However, a new policy just released says that smoking will be prohibited on balconies on all cruises sailing after January 1st, 2014.

Trainman-2 Posted September 9, 2013 Author #159 Share Posted September 9, 2013 Dinner at Samba's Brazilian Grille was Superb! (Better than Excellent) I only took one photo of my appetizer selection. There was so much stuff to eat and it was keeping everyone busy. The Lamb and Filet of Beef were Superb! Anyone who has not tried Samba's and likes well cooked meat of all kinds should try it! Aboat1 Posted September 9, 2013 #163 Share Posted September 9, 2013 One nifty new (to us) thing is that there are now handles on the outside of the door to the balcony. The door handle must be latched for the A/C in the cabin to work! Now we can go out onto the balcony to blow smoke all over the place (offending non-smokers near and far) and latch the door to keep the Cabin A/C on. Kesstral Posted September 9, 2013 #164 Share Posted September 9, 2013 Is the divider open or is the balcony that big? I read earlier they are staying in a junior suite so I assume the patio is that big. :) (can't wait for mine!!)
geoblond Posted September 9, 2013 #165 Share Posted September 9, 2013 Yes I was wondering about the balcony, also. Which stateroom do you have? P.S. great review so far!

This view looks so familiar, your JS could be right by where we stayed on Allure! :D We saw the webcam, too. Have a good trip!
