Question About Blackbeard Cay

Has anyone been to Blackbeard Cay within the last few weeks? We are going to Nassau the end of July and would like to go to the beach. I know Royal Caribbean has an excursion going there and want to know if anyone has been there recently.....Or does anyone have any ideas where you can get on a boat and go to another island and park your butt for a few hours???? Thanks for your help!!!!!!!

My DH and I went there. It is a nice beach with white sugar sand. There is a lunch stand but it is not included in the excursion. You get a ticket for a free rum runner. There are bathrooms and a few little stores. All in all it was an OK way to spend a couple hours on the beach

Cappy, does this excursion have a specific time line or are you able to go there whenever and come back whenever you are done? Thanks!

The excursions have a specific timelines, there are no ferries running to and from the island, just the excursion boats.
