kangaand2roos Posted September 9, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 9, 2013 Loads of people have reported ordering them, in reviews and such. No specialty coffees, drinks over $10.00, or souvenir glasses.
lbfluffy Posted September 9, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 9, 2013 I did the cheers program and yes you can get frozen drinks but they put DOD in a regular glass, unless you want to pay extra for the souvenir glass. We have enough souvineer glasses.

okgirl Posted September 9, 2013 #8 Share Posted September 9, 2013 The program talks about "certain" non-alcoholic frozen drinks not being counted along with soda toward your 15 drink limit. But I have had all the full alcohol frozen drinks and all were under the $10 limit.

NCnewbie Posted September 10, 2013 #12 Share Posted September 10, 2013 They mean that in addition to alcoholic drinks, you can also get the virgin frozen drinks...a nice perk for those who are don't want much alcohol but still want something special to drink. They have several varieties of non-alcoholic frozen drinks available.

Laurie S. Posted September 10, 2013 #16 Share Posted September 10, 2013 Not worth it at all! Maybe not to you, but it is to others. We're definitely getting it in February. My OBC pretty much pays for it. I intend to taste every drink that I've always wanted to, but didn't want to pay and not like. :)

I intend to taste every drink that I've always wanted to, but didn't want to pay and not like. :) I am sure you will enjoy it.... especially when you don't have to worry about the bill at the end of the cruise. I would get it on my up and coming cruise if it included the following..... Beers, Spirits, Cocktails and Wines by the Glass up to $12 per serving Unlimited bottle water Fresh squeezed juices Bottled juices - cranberry, tomato, pineapple, apple 30% discount on all wines by the bottle, Reserve Wine list and Rare Wine list. Entire selection of sodas - canned and fountain soft drinks from Coca Cola Premium Bottled Water from Evian, Perrier and San Pellegrino, Specialty Coffees and Teas Non-Alcoholic Frozen Drinks Smoothies Red Bull Energy Drink Specialty Waters from Vitamin Water. Which are ALL included in the Celebrity's package, which I am getting for FREE on my cruise in April. :D
jimboridesmtb Posted September 10, 2013 #18 Share Posted September 10, 2013 Not worth it at all! How much extra is the cruise compared to Carnival? What I'm interested in is the bottom dollar. So far Carnival beats all others even when you factor in gratuities and cheers.

So far Carnival beats all others even when you factor in gratuities and cheers. Carnival $57.45 per day Celebrity $56.35 per day You tell me which is a better package? ;) :D And like I mentioned above.... My package is ZERO Dollars with the special Celebrity is having now. Can't BEAT that!!!! :p
Laurie S. Posted September 10, 2013 #20 Share Posted September 10, 2013 I've looked at Celebrity cruises a number of times and have always found them to be overpriced. You don't get anything for free, it's being paid for somewhere in your bill.

I bet the Carnival total is cheaper.
stormynow Posted September 10, 2013 #22 Share Posted September 10, 2013 For those that like X pkg better sail X. No problem here. BTW I have 2 X cruises booked for early 2014 with the pkg inc.
Feelin' Nauti' Posted September 10, 2013 #23 Share Posted September 10, 2013 I think Jimbo is asking what the total cost is, cruise and all, not just the Cheers packages. I bet the Carnival total is cheaper. Can't give an answer to that, because it all depends on the cruise. Itinerary, amount of days, cabin selection, etc. Carnival is a cheaper line where as Celebrity is more upscale. You can find good deals with Celebrity that are less than Carnival, just have to look. The drink package cost has no reflection on the price of the cruise...;)

They have several varieties of non-alcoholic frozen drinks available. This is exactly right. Any drink with alcohol in it whether frozen or not if under $10 menu price (not including the tip) is included and counted toward your 15 drink limit.Soda's and frozen virgin drinks are free with the program but are not counted toward your 15 drink limit. The cost of the Celebrity cruise for same cabin type (aft balcony) is $900 more than the Sunshine. Even adding the cost of Cheers I still come out $500 ahead (only me in the cabin over 21). Plus I'm saving a ton of money driving to NOLA instead of having to book 3 round trips to FL.
