I then went wondering the ship. I ran into this little guy

Listened to the Captains Corner for a while.

I checked out the video screens outside of the MDR.

I played with the deck finders. These really did come in handy.

Even tho this was a smaller ship, I kept getting turned around in it. Maybe it was where the windjammer was forward and not aft? I don't know, but I relied on these and the signs in the hallway to point me in the right direction.

I went and snapped some pics of the pretty dining room.

I ran into Tony at some point. We headed to starbucks for some coffee. I also grabbed a cookie from the goodies selection.

P1020617.jpg

While waiting on our coffee we caught a little bit of the towel animal demonstration.

Yummmmmm Starbucks at sea. I couldn’t be any happier.

Tony and I sat and drank our coffee at these windows for a while.

After awhile I decided to run up to the room and see if the kids wanted to play some cards. They werent in there, so I grabbed my soda cup. I decided to fill it up at the machine by guest services. While in line Tabor and Loren came up behind me. So we went back down to the bottom of the Centrum where Tony was at to play cards.

P1020623.jpg

When I had first thought of playing cards, the place was pretty empty. So I thought the tables there would be perfect to sit and play cards at. But when we got back down there, all of the good tables were taken. So we put two small tables together and played. As we were playing I realized it kept getting more and more crowded. Then the trivia started. Argh. We were right in the middle of it. So we decided to move up the Schooner bar and play.

P1020624.jpg

But then IT started getting crowded. Yep, another trivia game was getting ready to start there. So we gave up and went back to our room to play.

When I got back to the room I found the best towel animal ever. I dont know if I missed it the night before because it was over on a table or if he had made it that morning at some point.

But here it is....The Best Towel Animal Ever.

We then carried on our game.

We took some time out and grabbed a snack from the windjammer.

And Tabor had to show us his choking face.

P1020638.jpg

We hung out on our balcony for a bit and watched the weather literally change in front of our face.

After a little rain, we were blessed with this rainbow.

P1020641.jpg

We could see both “ends” of it.

P1020642.jpg

Then all four of us crashed. I am always torn on sea days. I want to be doing stuff, especially since there was only one sea day. But napping on a ship is just awesome. In the end the nap won.

I loved getting ready tonight and watching the sea in my mirror.

I shouldn't have been talking while taking the picture. It caused a nice funny face.

And then it was time for us to go to our last dinner in the MDR. I had already filled out the WOW card and had my tip ready in my envelope to give Valfino. He defiantly earned an extra tip from us!

Tonight's menu

atseamenu.jpg

I had forgot to take a pic of the menu tonight, and again this is one that I stole from a review while planning my cruise. Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but I think it might not have been exactly the same because I do not remember the scallops and chorizo on our menu. Because honestly, this sounds just like a appetizer I would have tried. I ended up with the onion soup.

I ordered the pasta for my entree.

The lambshank

Seafood mash

My pasta was good, but then Valfino brought this plate of shrimp and set it front of me. I stopped eating the pasta and then hurt myself on the shrimp.

P1020653.jpg

I was CRAZY full and only got a scoop of chocolate ice cream for desert. And only ate a couple bites of it.

Awesome pics of the goodies! This is deck 6 near the centrium, right?

Yes its the Ben and Jerry's/Starbucks area. Here's a pic of the area that I actually forgot to share.

That glass case is the ice cream, and the goodies are on the other side of the register.

Our table the last night.

We gave Valfino his wow card and tip. Everybody at the table ended up giving me money to add to the envelope. Valfino had mentioned the customer survey a couple of times and told us it was good for him if we give him an excellent. So I made sure I filled it out and turn it in.

Loved your review the pictures were great. Do they have the new soda machines on Enchantment?

Thanks!

They do have the freestyle machines. There is one on the port side of windjammer and one beside of Ben and Jerry's. I somehow didn't get a picture of either one. I had talked to one of the windjammer staff one night and he told me that they use to have six onboard but that they had problems with them so they now only have two.

Are the cookies free? My husband loves to eat cookies in the evening.

They are free. I think some people would think they aren't because they are in the Starbucks area in which you do have to pay for. (I did) I have only asked for them when getting coffee, but I don't think a purchase is necessary. And they are very good cookies, better than any in the windjammer.

Thanks! They had something like that on a Celebrity cruise we were on. Best pastries on the ship.

After dinner we went to the late night comedy in the theatre.

P1020664.jpg

After the show, we ran back to our room, finished packing our bags and set them in the hallway.

We spent our last hours playing in the casino for a while, lounging around the outside decks and roaming around the ship.

Sometime in the early hours of the next morning I went to use the restroom. The toilet would not flush. Then a strange sound started in the wall behind the toilet. Then at some point water starting leaking around the back of the toilet. I flagged down our room steward, Sami, as soon as possible and he called maintenance. By this time the floor was soaked and I ended up using every towel in the bathroom. Maintenance did not show before we left our cabin. I ended up running up stairs one flight and using the restroom outside of the windjammer. I know understand why the toilets where mentioned during the muster drill and everyday in the cruise compass!

The next morning we were up early and was to meet in the MDR for Zone 1. We were then escorted off the ship and into the terminal. Here is where I think Royal Caribbean or at least the luggage handlers has it all wrong at this terminal. This is the first cruise terminal I have been in where the luggage wasn't sitting in a room in zones, but came out on belts like at an airport. I had zone one. The luggage started coming out and it was all zone one. One of my bags came out almost immediately. But then nothing. None of the bags were mine. And then bags from zone 5 started coming out. Then other zones. But all of zone ones were not out. And since all of the zone ones were not out they were all standing around the belt and no other zones could get to the belt. It got backed up and crowded fast.

Once we got our luggage, we were thru customs fast and out in the parking lot. I had prepaid for our parking, so I handed the attendant my receipt and we were on our way home.

So in closing I will give you some of my final thoughts on the ship. Overall I really liked this ship. Of course they were little things you would notice on occasion that would let you know that she is an older ship. But since the Enchantment has recently been remodeled they were very, very few. One of them being that the drawers in my closets would not open. They were all crooked. Of course this could be just from misused and not age. The other thing and this is kind of a big one. One that will probably keep my husband off of the Enchantment during the summer months. But the air conditioning stinks. Our room was blazing hot when we first go there. I was like ok, lets give it some time. It never did cool off while in port. none. So I told my husband that I thought it would be better once we actually start sailing. And it was, just a little. At this point I got the room steward and he had maintenance check it out. All they did was take the covers off of the vents, which did help but it wasn't enough. It made sleeping uncomfortable. In fact one night my husband took a pillow out to the balcony and slept most of the night on a lounger.

IT would be nice if they had a least one more of the Freestyle machines that was available after the MDR closed. I dont drink a lot of soda, but I do love drinking ginger ale and root beer while on a cruise. My husband enjoyed the flavored water that was offered. One machine is located at the MDR, which closes fairly early every night. The other is by the Ben & Jerry's. It's not a huge hassle because I know you can get ginger ale at most bars. But they are so handy that one more would have been nice. One night I did ask a MDR staff member if there was another one located someplace else. He told me that the Enchantment did have six at one point but for some reason took four them out.

I know I have left things out, and I am always amazed at the things that I forget to take pictures of when I get home and start looking through my photos. But feel free to ask me any questions about things that I did not cover.

Thanks for reading along!

Thanks for the review! Someone on my roll call asked the other day what deck you board on. Do you remember?

I don't remember. But it would have to be the same one we left on right? That was on deck five. Because we left the top floor of the MDR and walked right off.
