Tenerife on Sunday, Dec 1

Hello - I am on a TA which stops in Tenerife on Sunday, Dec 1 (Port of Santa Cruz). I've read on these boards that there isn't much open on Sundays. However, people mentioned that stores are opened on Sunday as it gets closer to Christmas. Does anyone know if most places will be opened or closed that early in December?

 

I tried googling it too and the information was pretty vague.
