synet165 Posted September 16, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2013 Good Afternoon: I have some questions about the 7 night cruise that you are presently on. We will be taking the same cruise on Oct 5th and know that there is only one sea day on the entire cruise. Does this mean that except for the last day,Friday,no lunches are served in the MDR? Are there any activities on the ship at all during the day? Do they ever play Bingo? I would like to know which dining room is only any time dining, never traditional? Any hints and tips would be greatly appreciated, I have been on many cruises but never one with only one sea day. Thanks Synet165

Eagle Eye Posted September 17, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2013 tip - we picked up our food in the Horizon Court and found many available tables in the Cafe Caribe.
sminfiddle Posted September 17, 2013 #6 Share Posted September 17, 2013 Yes Vickie mentions many activities on the CB including bingo: Things happening today: Dr. Bob & Bill W Meeting, Solo Travellers gathering, Ping Pong Tournament, Introduction to Acupuncture, Trivia, Mah-Jong, Taboo game, Golf Chipping Challenge, Princess Pop Choir Rehearsal, Afternoon Tea, Lighting Photography seminar, Pain Management Seminar, Veterans Get Together, NFL Football on MUTS, Bingo, Princess Book Club, Art Auction, Zumba Fitness, GLBT Get Together. ~sent using Cruise Critic app~
sminfiddle Posted September 18, 2013 #7 Share Posted September 18, 2013 Does this mean that except for the last day,Friday,no lunches are served in the MDR? I asked Vickie who's enjoying that cruise and your suspicion is correct: Since we have been in port every day the dining room has been closed and is only open on sea days. So for this itinerary it will be Friday.
RickEk Posted September 18, 2013 #8 Share Posted September 18, 2013 I would like to know which dining room is only any time dining, never traditional? The Island Dining Room is only anytime dining... The Coral Dining Room hosts the very early traditional dining time.
