Dr. Payne, I had the opportunity to hear your lectures and meet you last October. We are eagerly awaiting the publication of your book. Is publication still on track for March 2014?

Dear Ian,

My book to celebrate Queen Mary 2's tenth anniversary will be published in March 2014 (postponed from this October).

The book is being published by Haynes and will follow the format of one of their popular "Owners Manuals". The book describes the design, construction and operation of the ship and will be available through bookstores and the internet.

I have been greatly honoured in that HRH Prince Philip has graciously written the Foreword for the book.
